Sharing Policy

Cybird's Policy

From the official cybird tumblr page, the post states:
"Our policies about screenshots are as follows:
Generally put: we’re completely fine with people taking screenshots of their favorite scenes out of context and sharing them with people (in fact, we welcome it)! However, we would like to politely request that you keep those screenshots within a reasonable amount. As such, please post no more than 10 consecutive screenshots per story.
However, when it comes to Photos, we would like to request that you keep from posting entire CG/images from routes or stories from any of our games, whether it is in English or Japanese, as it is against our policies to do so. Posting the partially cut off photos that appear in stories (with the text), is fine."
So here is my understanding:
  • You can share screenshots of the game, as long as it's not too many screenshots of the game.
  • You aren't allowed to upload video of their games.
  • You aren't allowed to post CG's as a whole on any sms
  • Below are two images provided by Cybird reiterating their policy

Voltage Inc.'s Policy

Voltage Inc. has been tightening their policy to make it more stable. This is my understanding:
  • As far as the paid games go you can't post CG's anywhere outside of Tumblr.
  • The new policy concerning 'party' apps is that you cannot share CG'S from main stories or events on any SMS.
    • There is a specific post laying out the policy concerning Samurai Love Ballad: Party. This policy applies to all party games.
  • Below are two screenshots from tumblr. Both involve the official voltage inc tumblr blog.
    • The first stating while they view CG's are spoilers, as long as we are not transcribing the game we are allowed to share.
    • The second states there are no rules against sharing within the tumblr community.
